Article 3: Composition of teams
Each team must designate 1 captain, who will be the sole contact with the organization.

Only runners aged 18 and over on the day of the event can participate in the race. (sorry for the others).

Particular case of cadet / junior teams on 6h MTB: Cadet and junior riders (between 15 and 18 years old) can participate in 6h MTB only, in teams of 6 for cadets, and in teams of more than 4 for juniors.
Cadet teams (15 to 16 years old on 12/31/2021)

the presence of only one junior in a cadet team is accepted.
Junior team (17 to 18 years old on 12/31/2021)

Article 4: Medical certificate
Each rider must prove that he presents no contraindication to the practice of mountain biking in competition.

either by providing a medical certificate of less than 1 year on the day of the event, authorizing "the practice of mountain biking in competition",
or by presenting a cycling license for the current year, approved by a doctor. Only FFC, UFOLEP and Triathlon licenses (indicating that they were provided on presentation of a medical certificate) are accepted. No license from another federation can be the subject of a proof of no contraindication to the practice of mountain biking in competition.

Article 5: Insurance
The association informs participants who are not FFC licensees at the 24 heures VTT event that it is in their personal interest to have Individual Accident Insurance which will cover them in the event of damage caused by them, i.e. '' a fall in which no third party could be considered responsible (compensable or not under the obligation of insurance instituted by article 37 of the law n ° 92-562 of July 13, 1992).

Only FFC licensees have this coverage, with the possible exception of UFOLEP licensees for whom it seems that the individual insurance included in their license covers them during FFC competitions. As a general rule, it is up to everyone to check that they have not already taken out this type of insurance elsewhere (by paying with a Gold or Premier bank card for example), knowing that very often, the practice of a competitive sport is excluded from the cases of coverage.

Article 6: Accommodation of teams
Campsites are available to teams from Friday May 21 at 4:00 p.m. Only one vehicle per team will be allowed in the camping area, subject to installation before Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. This vehicle cannot be moved before Sunday May 23 at 3:00 p.m. Additional vehicles can be parked in another free-access car park outside the circuit.

The organization allocates the locations taking into account as much as possible the wishes of the teams. The first registered teams will have the choice of the campsite, the last registrations will have the remaining sites. The choice of locations by the participants will not be possible on the day of the event.
The pitches must be vacated and cleaned no later than Sunday 23 May at 6 p.m. Each team must store its waste in garbage bags, these bags must be placed in the containers provided. The teams undertake to keep this location in perfect condition during their stay.
Motorhomes are strictly prohibited from emptying on the site.
The use of generators and barbecues is strictly prohibited on the campsite.
Showers and WCs will be available on site. Non-removable structures (sanitary blocks, etc.) other than those provided by the organization are prohibited.
The organization declines all responsibility in the event of theft or damage suffered by participants on the campsite.

Article 7: Services
The organization takes care of the smooth running of the event, the supply of bike plates (1 per rider) and electronic timing indicator (s), the supply of a hot meal on Saturday evening and the breakfast on Sunday morning, as well as the preparation of rankings and the presentation of awards.
Various activities (including music, concerts) will take place throughout the weekend.
The courage and the madness necessary to register for this type of event remain the responsibility of the runner.

Article 8: Registration - Participation fees
Registrations can only be made online. Payment is optional, online by credit card or by sending the payment by check.

The organization reserves the right to refuse applications when the maximum limit of participants is reached (500 runners for 24 hours and 200 for 12 hours and 6 hours). Registration files will be taken into account in their order of arrival, the date of electronic payment or receipt of payment by check as proof.

Registration is individual but the commitment is collective for the whole team. The validation of the whole team implies that all the registrations are validated. Only complete files will be taken into account. A file is considered complete if and only if it includes:

Copies of licenses or medical certificates of aptitude for the practice of mountain biking in competition dating less than 1 year on the day of the start of the competition can be sent by mail, or presented when withdrawing registrations on the day of the race.
Incomplete files will be kept 30 days after receipt. After this period, if the file has not been completed, it will be completely destroyed (checks and certificates included).
The withdrawal of a team or a rider cannot be the subject of a refund of the entry fees.
No refund is possible after registration. However, until May 2, 2021, in the event of injury and upon presentation of a medical certificate clearly stating the prohibition of participation in a mountain biking event, a partial refund will be offered (registration fee less € 15 management and costs already incurred). No refund will be possible after May 2, 2021.
After registration, and until May 9, 2021, the replacement of a rider already registered by another rider is possible, at no additional cost. To do this, the replacement rider must pre-register on the site (registration with deferred payment) and inform the organization specifying the replaced rider.

Article 9: Cancellation / Interruption of the race
In the event of force majeure, or the impossibility of having access to the infrastructures, before or during the event, the organization reserves the right to cancel or interrupt it. Teams will be compensated for their participation costs less any expenses incurred. This distribution will be made fairly among the participants.
No recourse can be exercised against the organization. If it is necessary to interrupt the event, the classification will be established from the scores recorded at the time of the interruption.

Article 10: Rules of the competition
The bicycles used must be of the Mountain Bike type, imperatively equipped with wheels between 26 and 29 inches. Tandems meeting these technical characteristics are accepted. Electrically assisted bicycles are not accepted.

The general classification will be made on the greatest number of laps completed in 24 hours (or 12 hours and 6 hours on the other 2 races). In the event of a tie on the number of laps, the classification will be based on the best time achieved to cover all the laps in question. The number of laps made between each relay is free. It is imperative to complete the course with your bike (on it, pushing it, or carrying it). The organization declines all responsibility in the event of theft or damage occurring before, during and after the event.
